Ajay Farate
Ajay Farate is a seasoned business consultant and technical communicator with over 22 years of cross-industry experience spanning IT, fintech, telecom, ERP, and manufacturing. As the founder and director of Xportia Overseas, he leads a global team of technical writers and consultants delivering high-impact documentation and business consulting solutions that are cost-effective, scalable, and results-driven.
A certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, Ajay specializes in API documentation, structured authoring (DITA), OpenAPI/Swagger, CCMS integrations, and process optimization. His expertise bridges documentation strategy, automation, and compliance frameworks—helping organizations streamline operations, reduce inefficiencies, and scale sustainably.
Ajay has successfully led projects across Asia, Europe, North America, and the Middle East, consistently driving measurable improvements in efficiency, adoption, and profitability. Known for his collaborative, client-centric approach, he partners closely with stakeholders to align documentation and business processes with strategic goals.

Barry Saiff
Barry has 35 years of technical documentation experience. He has developed documentation for many large US companies, including Oracle, Symantec, IBM, and GE. He led writing teams at 7 companies and hired over 100 writers. He was a key leader in the transition to a unified content strategy and topic-based authoring at Symantec. He has extensive experience in management, corporate leadership, writing, editing, software development processes, content management, localization facilitation, and the tools and technologies that support all of these functions. He has authored hundreds of guides, manuals, online help systems, information databases, articles, and books.
Barry is a technical communications industry thought leader and a frequent speaker at conferences and webinars. He is the author of THE book on technical writing outsourcing: Outsourcing Technical Writing: A Primer, published by XML Press in October 2018.
